Nine years after the last condominium craze faded away in Jersey City, N.J., condos are finally staging a comeback. Park and Shore consists of two buildings with shared amenities. One, known as 75 Park Lane, is a modern 37-story glass tower with 358 apartments. The second, known as Shore House, is a seven-story building with 71 apartments in a loft-style building. Park and Shore, next to a new city park and close to the water, will offer high-end finishes, including stone counters and bathrooms, comparable to those at luxury condominiums in Manhattan.
The 429 ultra luxury condos of Jersey City’s Park and Shore project are due to hit the market in September, bringing more Manhattan-priced apartments to a place once thought of as a respite from New York’s rising housing prices. With twinkling views of lower Manhattan and access to public transportation connecting it to Manhattan, a new place to plant high-end apartments was born. Park and Shore is comprised of two separate condos, the 358-condo 75 Park Lane and the 71-condo Shore House, spread across two adjacent blocks.

At the former, layouts range from studios to three-bedrooms and at the latter, there will be one- and two-bedroom apartments. A purchase here also lets you in on a wide selection of over-the-top amenities. There’s a dining room, an area for wine tasting, an entertainment room with surround sound and retractable screens, a spa with steam rooms and saunas, and a game room with billiards, ping-pong and foosball tables.
